You should keep the bandage on for 2 hours; then remove it gently, clean all excess Vaseline and rinse it well. Pat lightly with a dry piece of cloth.

Then, follow this for two weeks:

NO more bandages
NO Vaseline or petroleum products
NO picking, rubbing or scratching
NO immersing in water or tanning
Taking a shower is okay (Pat, or air dry tattoo)

Massage a small amount of Vitamin A&D ointment (No Neosporin) on your tattoo daily for a week; after that, just use a non scented lotion (Lubriderm).

DO NOT OVER LUBRICATE YOUR TATTOO! If you can see the ointment on your skin, you have too much, and are chancing ruining your new tattoo.

(dab any excess ointment off your skin, with a clean paper towel)

You MUST wash your hands before applying anything to your fresh tattoo.

If you develop a rash, irritation or redness, discontinue all products
and visit your artist for a check up.

After healed, use a sunscreen to help keep colors bright.
